I'm an Independent Game Designer and Game Artist with over 8 years of experience in the freelance art field. I've been crafting worlds, characters, and stories since I was 4 years old; and aim to share the joy of interactive storytelling and my love of creating video games with the world.

My name is Søren Hounsome , though I am better known by my online alias, Desyx . I have immense passion for a great many components of the Game Development process, including art, design, and programming. It's my greatest dream to connect people internationally with game worlds and new universes.
Born and raised in South Africa, I am privileged to have had access to incredible natural and cultural beauty that continues to inspire my work. I worked towards and achieved my Bachelor Degree of Computer Information Sciences in Game Design and Development through Vega School Durban (now Emeris Umhlanga) in 2023, graduating with Disctinction. Today, I am working towards a thriving career in the AAA Gaming industry.
