From Ashes | Games for Change

In the final semester of our Third Year at Vega School Durban, students were asked to select a problem within modern society to address in the form of a serious game. Inspired by my personal history and experiences with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, I decided to raise awareness for the neurological disease using a game filled with symbolism and elements from my own life. The concept art for this project can be seen here, in addition to its protagonist’s animated character model, as this is game is a work in progress that I am refining and developing at present.
